3 Year 36,000 Mile Auto Repair Warranty
When we repair your vehicle, we stand behind our work. Most qualifying repairs at Precision Auto Repair are covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Your warranty works at both Precision Auto Repair locations. If we repair your vehicle in South Windsor, you can bring it to West Springfield for warranty service, and vice versa. Both shops share your service history, so we can see the work we’ve performed on your vehicle.

What Does Our Warranty Cover?
If a qualifying part we installed fails during the warranty period, we’ll inspect the vehicle and determine what caused the failure.
If the part failed because of a defect covered by our warranty, we’ll take care of it. You won’t pay again for a covered repair just because something we installed failed during the warranty period.
The part must not have been damaged by another failed part, an accident, misuse, lack of maintenance, or another condition outside of the original repair.
Some Parts Have Different Warranty Periods
Not every part of your vehicle wears at the same rate. Wear items may have shorter warranty periods.
Brake repairs are typically covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles. Brakes wear differently depending on the vehicle, driving conditions, and how the vehicle is driven.
If any repair has a warranty that's different from our standard 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty, we'll clearly list the warranty for that repair on your invoice.
Your invoice always controls the specific warranty coverage for the repair performed.
Lifetime Installation Guarantee
We guarantee the installation of every part we install for as long as you own the vehicle.
That means we guarantee that we installed the part correctly. It doesn't mean the part itself will last forever.
If we determine that a part failed because we installed it incorrectly, we'll correct the installation and replace the affected part, or pay the reasonable cost to have the covered repair corrected when appropriate.
That's our workmanship guarantee, and it doesn't expire while you own the vehicle.
What If You're Away From Home?
If you have a problem with a covered repair while you're out of the area, call us before having the repair performed whenever possible.
We'll help determine what happened and get you set up with a qualified repair shop in your area.
If you're close to either Precision Auto Repair location, you can bring the vehicle to either shop, regardless of which location performed the original repair.
Taking Care of Your Vehicle Matters
Your warranty assumes the vehicle and the repaired system are properly maintained.
Keep up with required maintenance and address problems when they happen. A covered part can't be damaged by another failed part, continued driving with a known problem, lack of maintenance, an accident, misuse, modification, or outside damage and still qualify as a normal warranty failure.
If you're ever unsure whether something is covered, call us.
We'd rather look at it and help you figure it out.
