At Precision Auto Repair, we are dedicated to providing top-quality auto repair services to our customers in Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. Our company was founded in 2005 by James Stephenson, who has a strong mechanical background and Automotive Repair Master Certification.

We started out as a small car repair shop in West Springfield, MA and quickly gained a reputation for our attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. Our hard work paid off, and we have been voted Best Auto Repair Shop in Springfield, MA (3 years) and "The Best Auto Repair Facility in West Springfield, MA" (9 years in a row and counting). We have also been featured in Ratchet and Wrench Magazine and received Google's Top Rated award 5 years in a row, which is in the top 2% in the entire country.

Early on, James realized the importance of this and took steps to set Precision Auto Repair apart from the competition. His hard work and vision paid off, as we quickly outgrew our first location and moved to a larger facility across the river. This allowed us to expand our services while continuing to share the same principles and culture that have made us successful.

In 2014, after careful consideration, James decided to move the business back to West Springfield, MA. The new facility, located at 12 South Boulevard, is set up to handle a higher volume of customers and offer faster service. We understand that no one likes to wait for service when they need it, and we strive to get our customers in and out as quickly as possible.
